I’m Papa Penguin and this is your Military Minute

The rectangular shaped, sugar coated, gel filled, caloric delivery device known as the Pop Tart was invented by an Army Air Corps veteran that served in Japan after WWII. He created this MRE staple in the mid 60s for Kellogs and it has soldiered on ever since.
