Storm Shield Forecast morning update 2/13/18

Though we have a storm right on top of us, the moisture is limited, so we're just getting scattered showers, mostly in the mountains.The clouds will break apart at times today, allowing some sunshine so we can soak in these seasonal temperatures and revel in the great air quality! Bakersfield will top out at 63 this afternoon, right on track for our seasonal average. The Kern River Valley gets the low-to-mid-50s while the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park will spend another afternoon in the mid to upper 40s.
