"PM Modi to Launch Rs 32,000 Crore Development Projects in Jammu"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Jammu is set to be a landmark event, with the inauguration of development projects worth over Rs 32,000 crore. These projects cover a wide range of sectors, indicating a significant boost to the region's infrastructure and overall development.

In the education sector, PM Modi will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for several projects totaling about Rs 13,375 crore. This includes the inauguration of the permanent campuses of IIT Bhilai, IIT Tirupati, IISER Tirupati, IIITDM Kurnool, IIM Visakhapatnam, IIM Jammu, and IIM Bodh Gaya. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) in Kanpur, aimed at providing skill training in advanced technologies.

The PM will also lay the foundation stone for various educational projects, including the construction of the permanent campus of Sindhu Central University and IIIT Raichur, and the development of academic blocks, hostels, and staff quarters in institutes like IIT Bombay and IIT Gandhinagar.

In the healthcare sector, PM Modi will inaugurate the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vijaypur, Samba. This state-of-the-art hospital, established at a cost of over Rs 1660 crore, will provide high-quality patient care services in 18 specialties and 17 super specialties. It will also have facilities like 720 beds, a medical college with 125 seats, and a nursing college with 60 seats.

The PM will also lay the foundation stone for a new terminal building at Jammu Airport, aimed at enhancing air connectivity and boosting tourism and trade in the region.

Moreover, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various road projects, including the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, the four-laning of Srinagar Ring Road, and the upgrading of the Srinagar-Baramulla-Uri stretch of NH-01. These projects will improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost economic development in the region.
