This is the Grand Canyon of Jordan and the lowest canyon on earth.

📌 Save this post for future Jordan travel plans!

Wadi Mujib Siq Trail is a perfect day trip from the Dead Sea. You will be walking, swimming and climbing waterfalls through fast-flowing river inside a canyon.

Here are some things to remember for your visit:
📍 Location:
Wadi Mujib Siq Trail, Jordan
Access the trailhead by following signs from the Mujib Bridge. The adventure begins here!

🕖 Opening times:
- Wadi Mujib Siq Trail is open between April and October. It shuts down as soon as it starts raining.
- During opening months, you can do the trail, daily from 8 am to 3 pm.

💵 Entrance Fee:
- 21 JOD per person (approximately 30 USD/ 27 EUR).
- You can hire waterproof shoes for 5 JoD (7 USD/6,5 EUR).

⏱️ Duration:
- It takes between 2-3 hours to finish the trail.
I needed more than one hour to get to the final waterfall and around half an hour to get back.

❕ Wear clothes that can get wet.
Bring a waterproof case for your phone.

Have fun,
Anja
