Dragon Ball The Magic Begins 1991 Movie Review - Old Man Orange Podcast

Talking all about the Taiwanese live action, adaptation film from 1991 of Dragon Ball The Magic Begins. This is one of those flicks that we've heard about for many years but have yet to finally watch till now. Surprisingly, it hits a bunch of the main story beats of Dragon Ball pretty darn accurate. The characters names are changed, some looks are a bit different, and a few players combined to escape some copyright infringement. But overall, it is more impressive than one would think. Corny, cheesy, but still fun. And loads better than America's attempt with Dragon Ball Evolution. It has the feel of a high budgeted, high school made flick, where you and your friends were trying to work your way around the copyright of Dragon Ball. Totally worth a watch for any Dragon Ball fan. You can find the movie on Youtube.
