Inconsolable Death

This woman died while crying over the loss of her beloved. Racked with guilt, and vows to make amends. She gracefully swooned over the edge where she had once shared her prophetic day.

With memories warm in her heart, she felt the warmth of tears pressed on her cheeks. Below she looked with salty eyes upon the broken shore that awaited a broken soul.

She leaned a little further with her toes gripping the edge of the Earth. The tears had blurred her eyes. “I just want to be with you.” The breeze she felt, the weightlessness. She thought just for a moment. “Birds.”
Then everything was black.

Except her tears. Except her wails. An inconsolable death.
