Madame Web is Even Worse Than You Thought

Expectations were low and yet Madame Web decided to miss them. $25.8 Million on it's opening 6-Day weekend is embarrassing no matter how you spin it. Morbius, the previous low water mark for Sony's Spider-Man Universe, did $39 Million on it's Opening Weekend and $45 Million in it's first 6 days of release.

It's a disaster, but unlike a lot of the slop that is trotted out for the public, it's not ideologically driven and bad because of it's overreliance on pushing a message, it's just poorly directed, written and acted. It's so bad, it's good.
