If you travel throughout Japan, there are things you need to do and places you need to see in order to have really been there. Landing in the airport, walking around a few streets and leaving is not enough. It is for this reason that I made a list of a few places in Kyoto that you need to see in order to really feel like you have been there.

You might say that these are the “Top 10” places in Kyoto to see. Kyoto is such a unique and relaxing city with so much to offer, and I think that these are the best places that will really get you to understand the feeling of the city and what Kyoto is all about. It is not so much of a mix of traditional and modern, but more of traditional Japan existing itself within the modern. And for that reason, despite the loud sound of the cicadas, I made this video so that if you come to the wonderful city of Kyoto in Japan, you will know which are the places you cannot miss.
