Police Arrest Man for Running Meth Lab

Officers responding to a suspicious person call discovered evidence of meth manufacturing in a home Monday. It happened in the 1200 block of NE 7th Avenue. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers arrived at the home and contacted 25-year-old James Cain before obtaining a search warrant for the home after they discovered that he was manufacturing methamphetamine inside. CCPD Vice, Intelligence & Narcotics responded to the scene and seized the methamphetamine and cooking materials as evidence. Cain was placed under arrest for producing methamphetamine, trafficking in meth more than 14 grams, and possession of a structure for the purpose of manufacturing drugs. He was transported to the Lee County Jail.
