Pt 2. We all want to help, but caution, discernment is essential. There's such thing as 'unintelligent compassion', or compassion used to help those who do not have your own well-being at heart or, simply, will drag you down and exhaust your energy, optimism and well-being. Just to name a few in this video: those who refuse to help themselves, those who are in constant need of other people's approval creating dependence, those engaged in self-destructive behaviour, those engaged in manipulating your kindness, those constantly negative and toxic.
