12 days in Zanzibar itinerary 🇹🇿

1️⃣ DAY: Arrival to Zanzibar and transfer to Jambiani/Paje
When coming to Zanzibar by plane or via ferry from Dar Es Salam make your way to the beaches on southeast coast of Zanzibar. Jambiani or Paje.

2️⃣ DAY: Jambiani/Paje beach and village

3️⃣ DAY: Half day trip to Kizimkazi

4️⃣ DAY: Day off for kitesurfing lesson and Kuza cave

5️⃣DAY: Make your way to northwest part of Zanzibar. Stop at The Rock restaurant for lunch, in Jozani Forest to see the Red Colobus Monkeys and arrive to Nungwi or Kendwa in time for dinner.

6️⃣DAY: Beach day at Nungwi & Marine Turtles Manari

7️⃣DAY: Beach day and Mnemba island

8️⃣DAY: Beach day at Nungwi, village visit and Dhow boat sailing

9️⃣DAY: Walk to Kendwa beach and spend a relaxing day there

🔟DAY: Start your way down to Stone Town. On the way stop at Spice farm and visit a Prison Island in the afternoon. Have dinner at Forodhani gardens.

1️⃣1️⃣ DAY: Sign up for a Stone Town walking tour, have lunch at Lukmans and watch sunset from 6°South.

1️⃣2️⃣ DAY: Souvenir shopping day and departure.

*You can swap one of the days in Nungwi for a safari in mainland Tanzania.
