International Flight To Detroit Is Turned Around

On Tuesday, a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit had to turn around an hour into the
flight due to stowaways….. a bunch of maggots.

Maggots started to fall from an overhead compartment onto a woman on Delta flight DL133, where nearby passengers thought it was a joke at first.

The problem stemmed from a passenger who wrapped a bunch of rotten fish in a newspaper and brought it in his luggage.

The flight returned to Amsterdam Airport so passengers could be put on the next available flight to Detroit. The plane was taken out of commission to be cleaned.
