Little India In Singapore: A Colourful And Vibrant Culture in stormy weather

It was a huge day of sightseeing and absorbing the culture of Singapore.

In this video we explore Little India In Singapore. We see many shops selling everything from flowers to carpets and gold and silver jewelry.

We visit the Tekka Wet Market and sensual assault on the senses! We keep wandering around Little India until we get caught in a monumental thunder storm and get saturated. At least it was warm!

We head over to have High Tea at the Fullerton Hotel with a friend of Jo who lives in Singapore. It was good for her to catch up with her friend and the setting and food was spectacular.

In the late afternoon we also visit the Peranakan Museum and learn about the Peranakan history, culture, arts and artifacts.

We head back to our hotel and stop over at The Chijmes complex. This was a former Catholic convent that is now a vibrant entertainment area with many fine dining options.

We have a rest to the hotel before venturing out for dinner at Poulet in the basement of the Raffles City Mall.
