2 Rom hacks of One of the greatest 1995 Super Nintendo Gems Exists on both Rom Hacking and CDRommance, which This is a More Polished and more Faithful Translation which does this Game far better Justice than Capcom of USA's Terrible WOnky Official Translation,While Breath of Fire 2 at the time was still a great game, but it's official Translation back in the day suffered from alot of problems (including the gameplay in general) from it's terrible Bad Grammar/Mis Translation to it's rediculous number of Encounter Rates and the slow Grinding Pacing of the gameplay's Battle System of enemies not giving you enough Zenny and Exp Points made this Version a chore to get through back in the Day (Which the GBA Version fixed alot of the Flaws of the Super NES Version),but however, these rom hacks change all of that!

Combining the Best Aspects of both the japanese Version and the Game Boy Advance port, the Game is now a much better and less tedious Polished experiance, which your characters now move faster in Dungeons and Towns, and earn DOuble the Zenny and exp from Defeated enemies making LV Grinding Much easier in this rom hack, and best of all.....a much more faithful Script following closer to the japanese version making the storyline make a hell alot more sense!

for example, for this playthrough,Ryu will face off against Katt (Or as she's called in the japanese Version Lin) in a Coliseum Battle which after this Boss Fight, she becomes one of your allies, which she's one of the best characters next to Nina and Spar to have in your Party! not only does Katt bare a Striking resemblance to one of the Thundercats "Cheetara" from the Thundercats cartoon, but she also reminds me of that one Cat girl character from that 90's Anime "Vision of Escaflowne".lol

also, some of the dialouge is outright halarious in the fan translation too,in the official 90's Capcom Localization Version back in the day,Katt/Lin just calls you a Weirdo for peaking into her dressing room, while in the japanese version (and Fan translations),she gets straight to the point and outright calls you a Pervert.XD

How do i know this you may ask? Let me put it this way,for a proper comparision,I watched
BCSBuster's Lets play of Breath of Fire 2 back in the day,and I was baffled with some of the Changes/choices that Capcom did in the official 90's localization, which yeah heh......Capcom did not do this gem proper justice back in the day with that terrible Translation and you'll see why.lol

so yep,in a nutshell, like with the Turbo Grafx CD Version of Valis 3,Breath of Fire 2's official Translation back in the day was another prime example of bad 90's Localization that didn't do this gem proper justice which defentially needed to be fixed with a proper more faithful Fan translation! (including the names of your items and weapons/equipment now making alot more sense!)

However to be fair in Fairness,Lufia 1: Lufia and the Fortress of Doom also suffered from similar gameplay flaws that the original localized 90's Super nintendo of Breath of Fire 2 did at the time, which is why rom hackers also recently fixed Lufia 1's flaws with a better improved Defenitive Edition:

1995 Was quite an interesting year during the last few remaining years of the Super Nintendo's Life span when this game came out, which we got huge hits like Chrono Trigger,Final Fight 3,Terranigma,The cancelled unreleased Star Fox 2,Super Bomberman 3,Mega Man 7,Mega Man X 3, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island,,Seiken Densetsu 3/Trials of Mana, Spider-Man and Venom in Separation Anxiety,Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals,Earthworm Jim 2,Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest,Tecmo's Secret of the Stars, Kirby's Avalaunch (A Reskinned Version of Super Puyo Puyo), The Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes for the Super Famicom by Epoch games,Magical Quest 3: Starring Mickey and Donald,UnderCover Cops, and of course the Magical Circle Guru Guru Super Famicom games!

but anyways,enjoy!:P
