Faith

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Works are a result of your faith. When you believe you will work for that belief. Faith is so much more than hope. With faith you have an earnest expectation that the things stated in the Bible are actually true. Faith is action and proof that you actually believe because you act based on your belief.

The act or action of your faith. I like to see it as interaction with your Father in heaven. You go to bed at night and tell Him goodnight and you wake up in the morning and tell him good morning. You have an open dialogue with Him all day long. Your faith is your action, you act on the words from the pages of the Bible.

The way you please our Father is your interaction with Him. To me the word “works” doesn’t capture the whole picture. You include your Father in everything you do, your work, your play, your rest is all within His presence in your life. So every time you see the word “faith” think of it as interaction with YHVH.

Who are you working for? There are only 2 choices in the world we live in, you are either working for satan or God. Sure you can work for yourself but selfish gain almost always benefits the kingdom of satan. Works for God will lead you down paths of righteousness straight to God.

At the core of your belief is the Blessed Hope we have in eternal fellowship with God the Father. You truly believe in eternal life and at the moment you die you will go straight into the Bosom of Abraham to embrace your Father in Heaven.

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Everybody will experience the same appearance after you die in the flesh. If you have faith, this will be your earnest expectation.

Many in the world today say they believe but they really don’t. There are many antichrists gone out into the world today as John predicted in the end of days. They are fakes, imposters, pseudo Christians who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. If you’re a true believer you’re not afraid of the death of the flesh and you’re willing to die for the cause of Christ.

I firmly believe if the Lord plans on using you for His kingdom, you will be tested at some point in your journey.
