Back then in the 2000 years the future premises for China looked very good. There were signs of tyranny sure but the tech boom was making everyone dizzy. And if you look at China now you see the tech enslaving people.
I remember another thing, when there were the Truckers protests in Canada Elon Musk again praised them. After that he dissapeared, truckers were arrested. With Covid the same, he appeared after months of not doing anything when protests were well underway with hardcore people rebelling.
