Stolen U-Haul Truck Takedown

On April 28, 2023, Menomonee Falls Police Department officers responded to a FLOCK alert regarding a stolen U-Haul truck reported from West Allis. Upon locating the vehicle, officers attempted to initiate a stop, but the truck evaded, leading to a pursuit. The pursuit continued until the truck abruptly stopped. The female suspect passenger exited the truck, while the driver continued fleeing on foot.

One officer detained the female suspect, discovering that she possessed a modified Glock with an extended magazine capable of full-auto firing, along with suspected marijuana. Meanwhile, the driver was eventually apprehended. Subsequent investigation resulted in the driver facing charges for multiple felonies, including fleeing, operating a vehicle without the owner's consent, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, sale/use/transport of machine guns, and a misdemeanour charge for possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was transported to the Waukesha County jail. The female suspect passenger received a citation for marijuana possession and was subsequently released.
