VZ58 Follow-Up Review | Mods, Upgrades, & Shooting Impressions

Hey everyone, welcome back to Tactical Weapon Combat Ready! In this video, I’m doing a follow-up on my VZ58, showing off some of the modifications and upgrades I’ve added, and giving you an overview of how everything has been performing after putting around 2,000 rounds through it.

Mods & Features:

Vism Modified AK Handguard (Heat mitigation & keymod fan favorite)
JMac Folding Stock (Some issues with iron sight visibility)
Dust Cover & Optic Rail (King Gun brand, holding zero well)
Extended & Ambidextrous Magazine Release (For quicker reloads)
Upgraded Bolt Release (Enhanced functionality)
I've been really happy with this rifle overall – it’s a mix of SKS and AK-47 features that allows for tons of customization and makes it a blast to shoot. No issues with the trigger so far (despite the “gremlin trigger” rumors), and while there are some aftermarket triggers available, I’m sticking with the standard one for now.

I’ll also be looking into some further upgrades, especially with the iron sights and the stock pairing, but overall, the VZ58 is a solid, fun rifle that’s holding up really well.
