Ao I have had an issue with finding pH strips and solution drops when I need them, and I'm not the greatest in preparing ahead of time. so I had to find a way recently to determine if my soil was acidic or too alkaline as this is one of the first issues you want to address in cannabis deficiencies. if the pH is off, your plant won't absorb the nutrients freed up in soil. It causes what is known as Nutrient Lockout, which can be caused by different issues. AO SINCE YOU CAN HAVE A SOIL pH from around 5.2 - 7.2 or so, we can use a less than exact methodology to discern which way the soil may likely need to fall or rise in alkalinity or acidity. cannabis plants prefer a slightly acidic environment, hence the seedlings preferring a 5 pH. I am having an issue currently and believe the lack of acidity is my issue as I have recently added BoneMeal and Bloodmeal as well as Chicken Manure which initially will cause alkalinity ofnyhe soil. so to yes my theory, I'm OFCOURSE going to buy a pH meter tomorrow, but having no strips tonight and notnwanting to let her go, I am using this method to either add vinegar water or baking soda water deoending on results of the PH test. join me and I'll explain how it's done. from making the distilled water to testing and how to read the test. $bloodshotkoala. advoc8 always. meduc8 Daily.
