Elderly woman taken to hospital after house fire breaks out at 69th & Spencer

Around 3:30 p.m., a fire broke out in a home near 69th and Spencer streets. An elderly woman was taken to the hospital, and two animals died in the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
