Not a good sign when they call you 'Butcher' – Scott Bennet on Kiev's new Commander in Chief

Kiev's newly appointed chief military commander, dubbed the 'butcher' by many soldiers, says he's switching strategies to avoid using Ukraine's troops as cannon fodder. Alexander Syrsky served as the head of Ukraine's Ground Forces, which oversaw last year's failed defense of the city of Artyomosvk, also known as Bakhmut.

We discussed this with former US army reservist Scott Bennett. He doesn’t believe soldiers have much respect for their new top commander.
