The Mutiny of the Elsinore is a 1937 British action film directed by Roy Lockwood and starring Lyn Harding, Paul Lukas and Kathleen Kelly. The screenplay concerns a mutiny on a ship against a brutal captain. It was an adaptation of the 1914 novel The Mutiny of the Elsinore by Jack London. It was shot at Welwyn Studios in Hertfordshire. The film's sets were designed by the art director Duncan Sutherland.

SYNOPSIS
Following a mutiny on a ship against a brutal captain, a writer who happens to be aboard as a passenger is asked to take over.

The story of a surly crew, an honest God-fearing captain, a hardboiled-but-loyal Scotch mate, a scoundrelly second-mate, and then a mutiny, the fight and the final voyage to a safe harbor. But not before the Captain has been murdered, his pretty daughter in peril, her rescue by the single passenger on board, and a member of the crew thrown overboard by another crew member.
