Scaffolding removed from the apex of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris

After almost five years of reconstruction, the scaffolding enshrouding the ridge of the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was removed on Monday. While much of the building remains under construction, the removal of the scaffolding from the highest section gives the public and faithful alike an image of what Notre Dame will soon look like again.
