“Darkness Deep Down” Mystic Caves - Sonic 2 PARODY

I wonder if this one will be “controversial” 🤔
No I’m not trying to glorify self harm, even so- it’s something a lot of teens with trauma go through when they’re in pain but it’s not something they are allowed to show, like a deeply buried personal secret they alone must carry- like a scar on the inside nobody can see.

These days with the internet so widely available, and helplines and charity organizations ready to help- I can imagine that it would be easier to reach out… of course there’s also ways that abusers can stifle the whistleblower. I get it.
But if you’re in a bad place: you should really talk to someone. I felt like I couldn’t, but the only number I knew was for Childline. And that would only solve like a third of the problem… that and when social services did show up I wasn’t aware of why I was being taken away and manhandled into a car.
Felt like I was being punished for speaking up.
So I lied to them and told them I made everything up.
So now who’d believe me after that?
It’s just me and my scars.
What’s one more unspoken secret on top of The Big One? Might as well carry that one too…
