Sunset at Rose Garden Mountain

As part of my training prep for a fall elk hunt, I'm trying to hike this nearby mountain once a week while I progressively increase my pack weight. This week I'm up to a little over 20 pounds. The goal is 60 by September.

Normally I like to hike at sunrise on Saturdays, but it was raining, so I took the opportunity to timelapse film the beautiful sunset before heading down. What a view! The best part is knowing that if you missed this one, there will be another one the next day, and the next, and so on.
