The price of gasoline increased dramatically in the past week

The average price went up on average by 26-cents to three-dollars-26-cents a gallon which is the highest so far this year. The price is 40-cents a gallon more than just one month ago. Higher demand and reduction in the gasoline supply are being cited as the reason for the increase.
