David Mittelman - How Are New DNA Technologies Helping Solve Crime?

David Mittelman is the President of Othram, Inc. (https://www.othram.com/) which is a new, cutting-edge forensic lab that fields DNA identification technology that no other lab in the world has. It has helped solve several seemingly unsolvable cases, including the 46 yr old cold case homicide of Carla Walker in Fort Worth, Texas.

David has spent decades studying DNA, the human genome, identifying markers, DNA repair techniques, and more. As a Ph.D. he did years of research, teaching, and now forensic DNA identification.

All Things Crime is a new, comprehensive video series that will explore every aspect of crime and the ensuing investigation, one video interview at a time. The host, Jared Bradley, is the President of M-Vac Systems, which is a wet-vacuum-based forensic DNA collection system and has experience traveling the world training all levels of law enforcement and crime lab DNA analysts in using the M-Vac to help solve the crime.
