Papa Bog accompanies Windy to the Fairwood Festival. Windy insists on helping the young man captured by the pirates and convinces Papa Bog to buy him. Despite initial reluctance, Papa Bog recognizes Windy's compassion and agrees. Windy feels a sense of belonging and companionship for the first time in her life.
