📷 Few people know that in the town of Glubokoe, home of the legendary Soviet aircraft designer Pavel Osipovich Sukhoi, there is his small but very interesting museum located in Secondary School No. 1.
The museum was opened on July 2, 1985, on the occasion of the 90th birthday of the outstanding aircraft designer. On September 1, 2012, the school was named "Pavel Osipovich Sukhoi". There is a commemorative plaque on the school building; the exhibition includes: a fragment of the Su-17 cockpit, ejection seat, aircraft models, pilot's suit, documents and other parts. The building is visible on Google Maps at coordinates 55°08'00.4"N 27°41'25.7"E. Photo Sky.n.planes

Furthermore, in front of the school there is a Sukhoi Su-24M with a beautiful view of the lake; at the entrance to the city there is a Sukhoi Su-17M on a pedestal and in the local Victory Park located in the city center there is also a Sukhoi Su-27P. For anyone who passes through these places, it would be a shame not to honor the memory of the great aeronautical engineer.
