Tula paratroopers practised the elements of the upcoming assault to perfection for several weeks according to the reconnaissance data provided; the fighters knew in advance the map of the enemy's terrain and its routes.

Acting of great resolve, showing courage and bravery, the paratroopers completed the task, occupied the stronghold, mopped up it of the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and handed it over to the consolidation units.
