Whitetail deer swimming river in Alabama like it’s a small creek

Most people think of Whitetail deer as land, owls. Which they are, but they spend more time in the water than people realize. They are excellent swimmers because cold feet have webs between them. I’ve seen them at least four times this year swimming this part of the river. I have seen them several other times browsing on the aquatic plants growing in the age of it.
