This video illustrates the repair of a leaking oil tank on a 2018 Yamaha Sidewinder with 3100 miles.
The factory "gasket" is made of a rubber Yamabond/RTV type substance. Barn of Parts makes an actual gasket that can be used instead of gluing the cover back on.
