SO FAR FROM HOME
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

I was so far from home
Where the black winds blow
Where the fools bury their gold
And the medicine men dig up their soul
For a glimpse of what God only knows

I was so far from home
Roaming wild and free
Saw the serpent leer from the tree
And whisper to the wayward Eve
When all the while the enemy was me

I fell to my knees as the night fell hard
I looked to the stars and the spirit above
And prayed for release
From the enemy

I was so far from home
When I lost my way
I got led astray
Playing the games people play
Every other day

I was so far from home
Where the wild things grow
Where the dreamers are bound to go
With an offering to the great unknown
For a glimpse of what God only knows

I fell to my knees as the night fell hard
I looked to the stars and the spirit above
And prayed for release
From the enemy
