Kemper Military School Unused A Barra

Show-Me Go Explore obtained permission to tour and digitally preserve through video documentation, every room of this Fascinating Historic Mid-Missouri military school barracks. The school originally opened in 1844, and this particular building was erected in 1909. It is surprisingly in really great shape despite the fact that it has been sitting vacant and unused since 2002, due to a decline in the economy, low enrollment, and a general lack of funding. What a Wonderful piece of Mid-Missouri military educational boarding school history! This location is truly pure historic gold, just waiting for the right person with ideas and dreams to come and put it back to great use!
