There is a sense of enormous concern, fear in Rafah. In the last 48 hours we have seen some very heavy airstrikes into Rafah.

People here are very concerned about what the future might bring, and what it means if there is a large offensive in Rafah.

Reality is, it is going to be very difficult for us to manage an aid operation, if we have to move from Rafah.

We are struggling to meet the needs of the people right now if there is hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people on the move again we just do not have the resources to support them.

Also, operational, we will not be able to effectively and safely run operations from a city that is under assault from the Israeli army.
