Echoes of Southern Kitchens
2 tsp tea
Pinch of cayenne
Handful of mint
1 pint boiling water
Juice of 2-3 lemons
1 cup sugar
Ice
Combine two teaspoons tea, pinch of cayenne, handful of mint, and one pint boiling water. Let stand fifteen minutes and strain. Add juice of two or three lemons and one cup of sugar. Ice. Mrs. E. H. Mullen.
Did we drink it? Yes
Would I make it again? Already have but used only one lemon and halved the sugar.
