Noah Webster's revision of the King James Version, (more commonly called Webster Bible) focused mainly on replacing archaic words and making simple grammatical changes.
Noah Webster (1758-1843) has been called “America’s Schoolmaster”. He was the author of several books that were widely used in schools in his day, including spelling-books, grammars, histories, and his famous dictionary, An American Dictionary of the English Language (1828).
Here we have to do with his revision of the King James Version, a work that he began around 1831.
