Two bomb explosions near candidates' offices in thePakistani province of Balochistan killed at least 28people and wounded dozens on the eve of general elections, officials have said.
The first bomb killed 16 people in Pishin district, northof Quetta city, and a second explosion left 12 people dead in Qila Saifullah to the east.
There was no immediate claim for the attacks, andpolice are still trying to determine the cause amid avote marred by violence and claims of poll-rigging.
