Waukesha, WI - Independent journalist Peter Bernegger took to the stage at the Machine Shed restaurant February 6, 2024, addressing the Republican Women of Waukesha County. Bernegger dropped a bombshell, revealing that a staggering 36 ethics complaints have been filed and accepted by the Wisconsin Ethics Commission.
Bernegger named the Wisconsin representatives involved, as well as their alleged accomplices, some of whom served as their campaign treasurers.

Money laundering, a term synonymous with illicit activities, refers to the process of disguising the origin of funds obtained illegally. By channeling these ill-gotten gains through seemingly legitimate channels, individuals not only evade detection but also sidestep the necessary transparency that upholds are elections.

While the accused representatives and their treasurers remain innocent until proven otherwise, the gravity of the situation cannot be overstated. It is imperative that a thorough and impartial investigation be conducted swiftly, by the Ethics Commission upholding the principles of justice and accountability. Citizens are watching.
