Beetlejuice 2, New Supergirl, & Marvel Identity Politics

It's official! We're getting Beetlejuice 2 this fall, and we now have the name of the film and the release date on top of some returning stars and new big names for the cast!

The search is finally over! It's confirmed that Milly Alcock has been cast as the new Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow in James Gunn's DC Universe.

GO FIGURE! Sure, it's just a rumor at this point, but it seems totally plausible. The MCU wants to bring back Iron Fist, but not as Danny Rand. No, no! It has to be a strong, independent, girl boss.

Could it be...possibly...for once...Marvel is actually abandoning "diversity" in favor of comic accurate casting? It seems that way! "The Golden Guardian" Sentry will be played in The Thunderbolts by Lewis Pullman!
