Runs 2:49. Master recorded in economy LP mode. | The New England Patriots came into the Thanksgiving Day game with an appetite and tore into Detroit like pilgrims on pumpkin pie. The Patriots capitalized on two first-half Joey Harrington interceptions to stake an early 17-3 lead. Thanks in part to four Jason Hanson field goals, the Lions fought to within eight points with 9:46 left. That is when the Patriots carved the Detroit defense with a 22-play drive to chew up the remaining time on the clock.
