Yes, the United States of America (technically) had a Scottish-born President. He was Arthur St Clair, noted Patriot general and civic leader of the Northwest Territory. His name is also associated with the US Army's greatest catastrophe. Largely forgotten in the curriculum of American History, we will explore surviving vestiges of St. Clair throughout Western Pennsylvania.
