Reliance Staffing just outside of Detroit is being ordered to pay 70 nurses

The U.S. Department of Labor found the firm misclassified workers as independent contractors when they were company employees. The federal department filed a complaint against the company last September. Reliance Staffing is now closed, but will make the back wage payments through August 1st.
