George R.R. Martin is a Liar and a Coward For Blaming Anti-Fans!

George R.R. Martin, the author behind the A Song of Ice and Fire series, which was famously (or infamously) adapted into Game of Thrones by children, and the scribe for House of the Dragon, is throwing himself a bit of a pity party.

Taking to his Not a Blog, he complained about everything that was happening in the world and why 2023 was so bad. Blaming the Orange Man for rising hatred and wars around the world for making him sad. But specifically honing in on what he dubbed Anti-Fans for the death of rational media discourse.

If you are scared to finish the books because of the backlash you might face, just say it. But the toxic fandom that you live in fear of is a creation of your own actions. So sack up or hand it off to someone else.

Winds of Winter is years off and A Dream of Spring is just that if George spends any more time moping and not writing!
