Popular Deceptions

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12

There are ideas and philosophies out there that sound mighty good to a lot of people, and some of these philosophies can even sound quite religious in nature . . . but they are not found anywhere in the Bible. Not only that, they deceive, and they contradict the Word of God.

We need to have our lives founded upon the Word of God, not some popular notion. The Word of God is our firm foundation. All else is sinking sand.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalms 119:11

If the Word of God is not our foundation, we will not have a solid foundation, and we could suffer great loss. We want the Word of God to be our foundation, not some popular saying that sounds good, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Pastor Kemble brings a list of popular deceptions and demonstrates how they contradict the Word of God. This list is by no means a complete list, and there may be more to come, depending on public interest.
