Spiritual Fog

One of the ways the enemies against our soul operate and plan to hold us in is in darkness... The god of this world has blinded the eyes of man so that the Gospel is as foolishness to him... And even Satan can appear as an angel of light...
As we drive our vehicles at night, sometimes we have to deal with fog as well... On a foggy night if we try to turn our headlights on high beam, visibility actually decreases vs lights on low beam setting... in a sense this is like when we see a way to brighten a dark situation through means of the occult, new age, false religions as lights in the darkness, in actuality to attempt to make the lights brighter in hopes to improve visibility. Visibility actually decreases...
Early on into morning of lingering fog, we do recieve somewhat of an improved visibility because of the rising sun... Even though visibility has improved because of the sunlight, it is still limited because of the thickness of the fog... So many today can see some and even a bit better because of Jesus as being the Light of the world. Yet they still do not have great visibility because they are still looking through the lenses of witchcraft and idols... They are still holding back and clinging to their past or being held by hindering evil spirits...
Here in the natural world there is mostly two different means by which morning fog leaves and area... One way is as the morning grows towards the noon day. The heat from the sun burns the fog away. Which simular to the way as we become more like Jesus as we are transformed more into His likeness, the Light of Jesus dissipates the fog that is limiting vision... Then the other means by which fog disappears is when a morning breeze rises up and blows the fog away. Which again is simular as to how the Holy Spirit moves withing our lives and blows away the distractions and draws our focus more and more on Jesus and His Gospel. After all in both Hebrew and Greek the same words for Spirit can also be used as Wind or Breath...
In Mark 8 and John 9, Jesus healed a blind man with some of His own spit mixed with mud. At first the man could see people appearing like trees. But again Jesus touched him and he could see clearly... Many people in the churches today have settled a single touch from Jesus and still do not see clearly... Their spiritual eyes are not opened only their physical eyes... They are still allowing their past lives to remain as a fog that just will not go away. Again, as by their own willingness to hang on to their past life or held back by the presences of evil spirits... Many to allow the yeast of the Pharisees (Religion) to rise up in them by stepping into tight bounds of religion or the yeast of the Herodians (Government) to keep them drawn into a fight much like the Zeolots of the time of Jesus instead knowing that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings... Many get so caught up in the, "It's my way or the Highway", "It's believe as I say" religious ways. Or they get so caught up in worldly affairs that they just don't look to the One who is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End...
Jesus said many times, Let them who have eyes to see, let them see, and those who have ears let them hear... Jesus is not speaking of physical eyes or ears that can be indeed by the gods of this world but with Spiritual Eyes that depend upon the Light of this World...
