The GROWING EPIDEMIC of Estranged Parents | I Blame Tiktok

Trending now, it appears that Gen Z and Gen Alpha are being influenced to break up with their Millenial and Boomer parents as part of a Tiktok trend called going "No contact. They claim it's to save their mental health, and stand up to emotional abuse and narcissism.

Of course, those cutting off their loved ones don't believe that they're participating in a trend, but rather that they're really just liberating themselves from toxic and abusive parents. But we've seen too many TikTok challenges and other social media fads that have led people to make other devastating life choices - so why would ghosting your own parents be any different?

Let's review some of the stories of people going "no contact", and evaluate if all of these people are really separating themselves from toxic family members - or if the toxicity is coming from the content they're being bombarded with through the TikTok algorithm.
