Hiking Mount Rudolph: Hemet, CA.

I find Winter to be the best time to hike in the Inland Empire. With the cooler weather present, the intriguing summits all around seem much more attainable. So when my family was invited to a party in Nuevo, I used that to my advantage by creating a day trip to climb a few of the Inland Empire summits. All I did was miss out on some cake!

Mount Rudolph was the closest peak near the party. When researching, I found very little information from previous visitors. However, a dirt road goes all the way to the summit. I experienced several off roaders using the dirt road to race their vehicles. I have to admit, that it looked like a lot of fun, and that is probably why there is not much climbing information online from hikers. I just had to be the exception, which is something that I am used to anyway.
