Lakes are THAWING FAST! Time for River Smallmouth

The weird winter of 2024 continues with unusually warm temperatures threatening to thaw many lakes here in central Minnesota. Unsure of the ice conditions on local lakes, I decide to forego the hardwater and drop my kayak in behind a warm water discharge on the Mississippi River. Today's target: Smallmouth Bass.
