Russia’s ‘Knyaz Pozharskiy’ Borei-class submarine leaves shipyard

A formal ceremony was held for the departure of the ‘Knyaz Pozharskiy’, a Borei-class submarine, from the port of Severodvinsk on the White Sea; Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, was in attendance. The nuclear-powered ballistic missile sub is now due to undergo sea trials before its acceptance into the Russian Navy.
